Sunday Brunch

Woke up early and since it was a sunny day had a quick ride with my Bianchi. After wards decided to cook the danggit that was given to me as pasalubong by one of my japanese friend who went to Cebu for a Holiday, I paired it with scamble eggs.

Spanish Stand Bar

After doing my groceries I passed by a Spanish Stand Bar near my place. The bar is owned by young japanese couple who became my friends. Since I had some fresh meats, I asked them to put it in their refrigerator while I had a few drinks in the bar.

買い物終わってからスペインバーによりました。週末に一回帰る前にこのスペインバーでちょっといっぱいを飲みます。

Scallops and Red Bell Peppers

Even though I went home around 9 in the evening last friday I decided to cook in my place. I saw some scallops and bell peppers so I thought of mixing them in a dish.
add some soy sauce and sweet chili sauce then you have a simple but yummy dish.

先週の金曜日帰りは遅くてもアパートでご飯を作りました。ホタテと赤いピーマンあるのでシンプル料理を作った。

Thai Resto in Inokashira Park

Afterwards ate at a Thai Restaurant inside the park. For a lunch set which consist of some veggies, fresh rolls, soup, main dish ( I had green curry ) and coffee for only JPY 1,050. The price was not bad considering I'm in Tokyo.

後からタイレストランに行きました。ランチセトは1,050円です、その値段は東京で安いと思います。

Inokashira Park part 2

I had a stress filled day that last weekend went biking and stayed in the park for almost an hour meditating, listening and feeling my surrondings such as the sound of the birds and breeze of the wind.

すごく疲れた一日ので先週の週末自転車で井の頭公園に行きました。一時間ぐらいなにもをしなかった。

House of a famous novelist

I was riding my bicycle and checking the area around my apartment when I came upon the house of a famous japanese novelist.

Own version of Gyu don ( Beef Toppings )

It was late when I went back to the apartment but I was tired eating outside so I made my own version of gyu-don ( beef toppings ) The difference with the gyu-don in Yoshinoya or any other similar shop is that the taste is more similar to yakiniku.

帰りに遅くなったけど外で食べるのはやっだになってアパートでご飯を作りました。牛丼なんだけど味は焼肉と似ている。

Was walking in Aoyama

I passed by this famous shop in Aoyama ( one of the most expensive places in Tokyo ).

青山で歩いた時この有名な店を見つかった。

Inokashira Park

Last weekend went to Inokashira Park. 10 mins walk from my place. During this season the park would be full of people because of hanami ( lit. flower viewing ).

先週井の頭公園に行きました、家から歩くで10分をかかります。春時に公園が込んでます、なんでというのは花見のために人が来ます。

Road to the office

This is the path I use going to the office and going back to my place either by bicycle or walk. You can see the sakuras ( cherry blossom ).

Left-over

What I usually do with my left-overs is to add an additional ingredient so that it would come out as something new. With my pork belly with mushroom and onion leaves, I made it into an omelette. I just add some milk and parmesan cheese and mix it with the egg.
