2nd round of drinks....

After reaching my boss place, we had another round of drinks...if you check the left bottle...it's no other than our Ginebra San Miguel ! Afterwards...didn't remember a thing. Next day woke up around 9 am but was surprised no hang over!

Surprise !

We were really drunk....making fun in front of the camera or rather my mobile phone turn into a camera.

On our way back....

Since it was too late for me to ride the train back home, my boss offered me and Konoshuke san to stay in his place. On our way to my boss house we passed by some christmas tress made out of pet bottles !

Cheers....Mabuhay !

Having a great time with the kababayans. Planning to meet more programmers from their company. They might join in our year end party.

Friday night with kababayan....

It was a friday night and a dinner discussion with programmers from the Philippines. Mostly are graduate from UP diliman, Ateneo and La Salle ( these are the top 3 universities in the Philippines ). Supposedly the plan was to have dinner in a Oden Resto but since the resto was full we ended up in a yakiniku resto.

松竹梅 (しょうちくばい) Shochikubai

松 (まつ) - Pine Tree
竹 (たけ) - Bamboo
梅 (梅) - Plum Tree

Putting the names of these three kinds of trees together makes the phrase shochikubai, a symbolic expression of auspicious mattes. These plants are highly valued in winter because they are strong againts the cold, and they are used as felicitous decorations for celebratory events, as with the New Years's pine and bamboo decorations or at weddings. The pine, as the tree that stands for Japan, is often drawn in the background of Japanese paintings. The bamboo is used as raw material for handicrafts and flutes. The plum tree is not only enjoyed for its flowers, but its fruit is used for food, in medicine, and, since ancient times, as an important preserved food.

After the seminar...few drinks in Nakano...

After attending a whole day seminar with a colleague; we decided to have a few drinks in a yakitori in Nakano. This is my first time to drink HOPPY a non alcohol beer. But here in Japan you drink it mix with sho-chu ( sort of japanese version of vodka or whiskey) and a piece of lemon thus it would still come out as a alcoholic beverage.

The Christmas Tree

People line up just to enter the christmas tree. I wonder what's special with it; but if you look closer at the picture the couple who are under the tree are looking up.

The Snowman and Rudolf !

Christmas illuminations in Shinjuku !

Lights, lights everywhere ! Give me more Lights !

Reminds me back home in the Philippines .... this one is beside the Takashimaya Times Square.

This is one of my favorite place. Felt like in a different world.

It's Christmas Season....in Takashimaya Shinjuku!

It was one of those nights after work when I felt too much stressed that I just wanted to be alone.
On my way home decided to drop by Shinjuku and check the illuminations. And these are the pictures I took. Just looking at it made me forget my problems...at least for a moment.

Lastly...

The JOKER ! There should always be someone who is the life of the party without him/her all the steps on how to eat a CAKE would be useless and a waste of time.
Enjoy the Cake !

The Final Step....

Slice the cake but you need to have an assistant in doing this( should be the opposite sex ). And always remember you should do these together with a group of people who would imagine that they are eating the cake eventhough it's only in their dreams. Look at the picture and you can see the different expressions...

Before the final step...let's have a break

Can you spot the difference ?

5th step...

Blowing the candles without using your mouth but with your fist. By this time your concentration level should be 100%. You are now Bruce Lee....not Jacky Chan ok?! Whooa ! Eeeeiiii ! Wapak!!!
